Matthew P. Aaronson	My post-commencement goals are to locate an actuarial or analytically focused position that will use my mathematics and quantitative abilities.
Richard Ashford	I will be taking a long term investment sales position with MassMutual and I am a co-founder and lead developer for an energy aggregation start-up called GroupitNRG.
Luca Ashok	I will be pursuing a Ph.D. in accounting at Stanford.
Alvin Aviles	I hope to explore jobs in the field of mathematics and /or criminal justice. I would eventually like to pursue a Master's degree in criminal justice or a related field.
Lining Bai	I have a double degree in applied math and financial economics, and will work as a global data analyst in Bloomberg L. P. after graduation.
Clark M. R. Bowman	This fall I'm starting my Ph.D. in applied mathematics at Brown University, and in the future I hope to have a position in either industry (research) or academia. My favorite mathematical topics are PDEs, chaos, and optimization.
Megan Brown	I plan to not use any degree and gold-dig like a boss.
Zimu Cao	I will be working at Citigroup as an operations analyst after graduation.
Alicia Cornelia	After my Presidency of SUMS and coordination of the 1st and 2nd Annual Mathematics Festival, I'm ready to pursue more opportunities in the career field that can readily use my leadership skills.
Christopher Driscoll	I'm pursuing a career in medicine, I will be working as a camp counselor at the Double H Ranch in Lake Lozerne, NY and applying to medical school.
Linda Faber	This coming year, I will be pursuing a Master's degree in urban educational policy at Brown University.
Andrew Fleisher	I will be working for Verizon business in Washington DC, as a network engineer.
faye Gura	My time in the Department of Mathematics has been filled with yellow pigs, pastries in the fourth dimension, and the amazing feeling associated with writing QED at the end of endless proofs. I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry. In the fall, I will attend UCLA to pursue a PhD in bioengineering. I would like to express my gratitude to Professor Fred Cohen for being such an incredible mentor and inspiration. Finally, I would like to thank Chris Kauffman for helping a sad little freshman get through MTH 171Q and Scott Barenfeld for his infinite patience in explaining the world of math to me in ways I could understand.
Zhongzheng Hao	I will be searching for employment.
Christina Marie Horr	I will be attending the University of Notre Dame for mathematical biology.
Raechel Isales	In my heart today I hold the memory of my beautiful daughter Noel who passed away on September 5th, 2011. She was always right by my side while I was studying and she did her best to keep quiet so I could focus. I would like to thank Professors Jochnowitz, Pakianathan , Herman and Tucker for all of their help in my success. And a special thanks to Beth Olivares and Kearns Center for all of their guidance. I plan on continuing my education next year at RIT in the Master's program for applied mathematics.
Jordan Edwards Johnson	I will be attending Syracuse University next year to get my MasterÕs in mathematics.
Shane Keith	I'm planning on going to graduate school to attain a Master of Science in statistics, and hope to work in biomedical research in the future.
Haggai Kipsat	I will be working in New York City with Standard Bank Group, a South African investment bank, as an analyst.
Kaili Li	I have a double major in mathematics and financial economics. I am currently an intern at the Memorial Art Gallery. I would like to pursue a career in museum operation and management after graduation.
Xuan Li	I want to become an accountant and work in one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
Karen L. McGavern	I will be working for Philip's Healthcare as a field service engineer dealing with various types of imaging equipment.
Joseph Monahan	I plan on returning to Chicago to write my memoir and settle into an early retirement.
Ryan Murphy	I will be working as a research assistant/programmer at Mathematica Policy Research for a few years, and then will pursue a Master's in statistics and a Ph.D. in economics. Thank you to my younger brother Kevin in advance for putting up with my uncompromising demand for precision, which has caused him to often complain that I am 'such a mathematician.'
Thomas C. Norman IV	I will be a graduate assistant football coach at Misericordia University and I will be enrolled in their MBA program.
Katherine Nunez	I would like to thank my parents for being so supportive throughout this journey and always believing that I could accomplish any goals that I set out to achieve. After graduation I plan on working for an IT company in New York City and eventually get an MBA.
Michael O'Leary	I will be attending medical school in the fall to eventually work in orthopaedics as a surgeon.
Matej Penciak	Next year I will be continuing my studies and pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I would like to thank the fantastic faculty, my supportive parents and my awesome sister for helping me during my time at the U of R.
Timothy Pietras	I will be working with Harbridge Consulting Group in Syracuse, NY as an actuarial associate.
Susan E. Pratt	I will be attending Yale University next year to pursue a PhD in physics. My research will be in the area of biophysics.
Justin Rosati	I will be attending the School of Medicine at New York Medical College this coming fall.
John Rose	I will be starting work as an actuarial assistant at Liberty Mutual in Boston, MA come June.
Jordan Rosenblum	Upon graduation, I will be a graduate analyst at UBS in New York City. I will be working in fixed income research on the credit strategy desk. I hope to attend graduate school to pursue finance in the future after gaining experience in the industry.
Mengxin Qi	I will be in the Master of Financial Economics Program at the University of Oxford for one year starting September 2012. Upon completion of that program, I might become a financial analyst for an investment bank or research driven government or non-government institution.
Cheryl Seligman	Starting this summer, I'll be studying for a Master's in journalism at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
Robert Siller	I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison starting Fall 2012 to study for a Ph.D. in physics, with the intention of studying plasma and fluid processes. My future plans are to continue to do research and teach in a research university.
Evan Smothers	I have received a fifth year teaching scholarship and will attend the Warner School for mathematics. After completing my Master's I would like to teach in Rochester schools and in inclusive education.
Ben Snyder	I will pursue a PhD in physical inorganic chemistry at Stanford University. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Professors Alex Iosevich and Mark Herman. Their guidance was an invaluable asset to my research, which I finally finished in December after many years of effort. Most of all, I would like to thank my family for their unwavering support.
Christopher Taddeo	I plan to pursue a career in either market research or in the actuarial field.
Kailai Tan	I will be attending the Simon Graduate School of Business, pursuing a Master of Finance degree.
Jing Wang	I will attend Columbia University and study operations research.
Man (Karen) Xu	I will be pursuing an MD degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine this fall. I would like to give special thanks to Professor Cohen who has taught me five math classes and provided support and guidance throughout my college years. I had a great experience at the U of R and thank everyone in the Math Department for their help!
Simin (Kathy) Zhou	I will be working at Citigroup in Buffalo, New York.
Yiyun Zhu	I am going to work at Accenture in Shanghai as a consultant.
