amazing feeling associated with writing QED at the end of endless
proofs. I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in applied
mathematics in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry. In the
fall, I will attend UCLA to pursue a PhD in bioengineering. I would
like to express my gratitude to Professor Fred Cohen for being such an
incredible mentor and inspiration. Finally, I would like to thank Chris
Kauffman for helping a sad little freshman get through MTH 171Q
and Scott Barenfeld for his infinite patience in explaining the world
of math to me in ways I could understand. |

my success. And a special thanks to Beth Olivares and Kearns Center
