I have done my graduate studies at the Department of Mathematics at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (thesis).

In 2001-02 and 2003-04, I had a post-doctoral appointment at the Department of Mathematics, University of Pennsylvania. In that period, I gave six courses (five undergraduate and one graduate level).

I spent the academic year 2002-03 at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, which I was also visiting on a part-time basis in the years 2003-05.

Click here for the list of my papers. Some of my talks can be found here.

In 2009, together with Percy Deift, we published a monograph Random Matrix Theory: Invariant Ensembles and Universality in the Courant Lecture Notes series. The book is addressed to graduate students and researchers interested in the mathematical foundations of random matrix theory.

In the academic years 2005-06 and 2006-07, together with Thomas Tucker, we organized the Department of Mathematics Colloquium Series.
