There will be a contact geometry/topology reading seminar in the spring 2008 semester in which three graduate students (Hyunjoo Cho, Asli Guclukan and A. J. Todd) and three faculty members (Robert Hladky, Sema Salur and Ibrahim Unal) will meet once a week to study contact geometry and topology. Lectures will rotate through the group members with the ultimate goal to do active research in this area.
This semester the University of Rochester Geometry Research group will be holding joint seminars with the Cornell University Analysis/Geometry group. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
