Math 208: Homework
Unless otherwise noted, all problems are assigned out of Linear and Nonlinear Programing by
Nash and Sofer.
Rules:
- Homework assignments are due at the begining of class
- Late homework is not accepted except in extreme circumstances
- Multiple pages must be stapled or clipped together. No dog ears.
- Collaboration is encouraged but every student must write up his or her own assignment:
copying another student's work verbatim is not allowed.
Suggestions:
- Start early!
- If you are having trouble, come to my office hours or email me to set up an
appointment
that works with your schedule.
- Again: collaboration is encouraged but no copying!
Grading:
- Two homework problems will be graded closely according to the following rubric: 0
for incorrect; 1 for partially correct; 2 for correct.
- Two points will also be given for competeness.
