If you want to switch to Math 142, you should contact one of the instructors, Rick Lavine () or John Olsen (). Their classes meet at MW 3:25-4:40 and MWF 9:00-9:50 respectively.

The advantage of switching is that the course is easier and you are likely to get a better grade in it. The disadvantage is that it will probably mean you have to take an extra semester of mathematics.
